Parents: Лейзер Ицикович Зильберанг and Добриша Дувид-Лейбовна. ruwiki says so; fail to find RS
Origin of name Muni: some scarse sources say it is truncation of childhood pet name 'Haimuniu' (ru source says: Хаймуниу). I strongy believe this is transcription error and "Chinese whispers": the pet name derived from Хаим by Russian rules would be Хаймуня (Haimunia) see eg [here) The vocative case of Хаймуня would be Хаймуню (Haimuniu), see [1], but of course no RS for Setroff. And of course "Хаймуниу" looks wildly weird, indicative of intellectual laziness of whoever wrote this word in the internets. - Altenmann>talk20:35, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
